Art Deco Fashion Now.
The Art Deco Fashion movement evolved during the interwar period of the1920s and 1930s. The Art Deco style is unmistakenly identified by its novel use of symmetry, long lines, vivid curves and a brash, yet proper use of colours.
The name Art Deco comes from the 1925 Paris “Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes”, where the style was featured.
Art Deco modernism style included bespoke crafted luxury products, Industrial machinery and facilities, buildings and architecture, and luxury fashion goods and accessories. Art Deco Fashion was, trendy across Western Europe and Northen America during that era.
The Art Deco fashion style has a cult following with some niche cultures such as the Dieselpunk movement. This could be due to the exact period that both represent. Personly I see Art Deco Style fitting alongside the steampunk genre also, but, I know some may disagree.
